Classwork:

  1.  Bring colored pencils or highlighters, mine seem to be mostly gone - there are a few.
  2. Make a Cover Page for new unit on Moles, Periodic Table and Nuclear
  3. New mole worksheet, work on this in class I left the set up for the problems on the first page.  I will help with the second page when I return.
  4. After working this ws, you will take a mole quiz (5 pts) next class
  5. When I return, it will be the last day for 2 concept maps (5pts), Orbital Notation worksheet with valence electrons highlighted, Valence worksheet and the Test Review for last test (5 pts) - You will only receive half credit for these 20 pts.
  6. After the Mole Quiz, you will work on the blank Periodic Table, there is one in the homework section if you lose the one in class.
Homework:
  1. Periodic Table: http://chemistry.about.com/library/BlankPeriodicTable.pdf fill in with ending electron configurations and famlies labelled , labelling all the groups fill in Table with ending electron configurations
  2. Read pp. 115-131 - use this to color and label all groups on your periodic table
  3. Happy Thanksgiving
